Appreciation and Accomplishments

The Naomi Project has been recognized in several venues for its continuing work against domestic abuse.

The Florence Chamber of Commerce's Building Bridges" project presented the 2009 Humanitarian Award to The Naomi Project.

The Naomi Project was recognized in March 2008 by the Global Summit for a Better Tomorrow at the United Nations in New York City. The four-day summit focused on empowering women, and The Naomi Project was the first recipient of the "Hello Tomorrow" Fund. The award helped local victims of domestic abuse through The Naomi Project.

The Zonta Club of Myrtle Beach is a global service organization of executives and professionals working together to advance the status of women worldwide through service and advocacy. The Naomi Project was recognized by the Zonta Club for its work in domestic abuse in 2009.
